Abbotsford Soccer Association (ASA) offers Fall, Winter & Spring soccer programs from U4 to Adult. We are a member club that is recognized by the Canada Soccer Association (Quality Soccer Provider), as a model organization. We provide the best in soccer developmental programs for all skill levels from community through recreational to the competitive player.
ASA runs youth programming for boys & girls ranging from the U4 age group all the way up to open-age Adult Men’s & Women’s teams. All of ASA’s programs meet or exceed the requirements of the Canadian Soccer Association’s (CSA) Long-Term Player Development model (LTPD) – https://www.abbotsfordsoccer.com/player/player-pathway-and-player-environment/ and have been designed to provide players of ALL skill levels an opportunity to learn, grow and develop at their own individual pace.
As a priority, ASA coaches consistently ensure (via ongoing evaluation/assessment) that players are playing in an environment that will best help their personal development.
External Pathway
Where members have ambition and appropriate abilities, to play at a level that is not currently offered at ASA, we are delighted to provide the necessary guidance and information available to members.
Such programming may be the Fraser Valley Selects (Metro and/or Div1 levels) or the BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) competition, which in turn may lead onto representative opportunities with Provincial, Professional and National team programming.
ASA does have the desire to host the BCSPL level of play in the future and is working hard to attain the necessary accreditation through Canada Soccer and BC Soccer.
